SONGOFSONGS is a sensual, musical peepshow, a pansexual polyphonic orgasm.
Suzan Boogaerdt and Bianca van der Schoot, or BVDS, have been pioneers in the creation of multidisciplinary art that fuses theatre and visual arts since 1999. In collaboration with Suzanne Kennedy, among others, they have already made and shown a great deal of work in Europe, but in our region they are still less well known. With the sensual, musical peepshow SONGOFSONGS, the bring an ecological orgy to DE SINGEL. This movement performance draws inspiration from the most obscure text of the Bible: The Song of Songs.
SONGOFSONGS immerses the audience in a species-transcending game of love that - to pumping beats created live - works towards a pansexual polyphonic orgasm. A quest for a long-forgotten reality where everything makes love with everything else.
