Episode 'P. #06 Paris', performed on location because of its scale, is the sixth episode in the cycle 'Tragedia Endogonidia', in which the Anonymous Mother meets the history and the development of society. It focuses on the issues of urban organisation and military politics, as well as the concepts of the nation and the enemy. It abounds with references to a variety of worldviews and civilisations, such as those of Ancient Greece, China, and the Jewish civilisation of the Old Testament. The figure of Jesus appears, and with him the idea of the resurrection. Some of the images can be explained by Castellucci's ardent Catholicism and his thorough knowledge of the history of art, while others remain more mysterious, though this never detracts from their great emotional impact. This is theatre as a wordless and silent primal scream that leaves spectators speechless.
PLEASE NOTE! This performance is postponed (date unknown).
