Silvia Costa

Director, performer, writer and scenographer Silvia Costa has been Romeo Castellucci’s artistic collaborator since 2006. Now she is coming to deSingel with her own work.
Together with two other female performers, she presents her interpretation of ‘Dialogues with Leuco’, in which the Italian writer Cesare Pavese tackles the big existential questions in a poetic and concise way. Inspired by the literary and philosophical power of the text, Costa stages themes such as death, mistakes, punishment, our animality and our humanity with great finesse. The result is a theatrical and visual journey with the power of a ritual. Come and allow yourself to be seduced by Costa’s world full of subtlety and beauty.
