Tweede Vlaams-Nederlandse studiedag Theaterwetenschap

In this workshop research in theatre studies will be compared to research into theatre in other disciplines, like history, art, social sciences, etc. The colloquium will focus particularly on the question of whether or how the object 'theatre' influences the research methodology. The participants will comprise inexperienced and experienced researchers alike, from Flanders and the Netherlands and from various branches of the academic world. The colloquium follows a long tradition of Flemish-Dutch drama workshops which was revived by Maaike Bleeker (Amsterdam University) last year. During this workshop, Dutch drama experts will present 'The Theatre-maker as a researcher', the second edition of Theatre Topics, and an annual publication by Amsterdam University Press.
