Jean Michel Bruyère is the driving force behind LFKs, an international multidisciplinary artists' collective. The group believes drifting is the most fertile form of living, thinking and acting for art. In 'Le préau d'un seul' the makers state that the world image of Western society is still determined by colonialism and neo-colonialism. The project, which deSingel commissioned, comprises an installation to be created on the stage in the Red Hall and on the terraces. This encampment will then move to the Avignon Festival. The installation inside and outside the building will be open to the public day and night for a period of 36 hours.
