Following on from the success of Zandzoekers, Dit is hoe ik het zie, and Heimwegen, the inclusive theatre company led by Sara Gracia Santacreu returns with their fourth production, Smeltelings.
In Smeltelings, bookshelves are filled with impossible longing. In the Library, lovers find their treasures. There crackling titles, whispering quotes, inspiring stories, and mysterious spines, yet the silence is still deafening. Will they finally find the words over which love so often makes us stumble?
Smeltelings is a quest to discover what there is still left to say, after centuries of writing about love. Perhaps it is that one sentence, but phrased just a little differently?
