On Sunday, we transform DE SINGEL into a paradise for families. That day, we view architecture through children’s eyes. Funnily enough, we draw inspiration for this from Marcel Raymaekers, a 90-year-old architect. As a young designer, Marcel Raymaekers went all over Belgium in search of materials, to which he then gave a second life. They were given a place as building blocks in his designs, regardless of their original function. Roll up your sleeves, open your eyes and be prepared to be astonished.
