Muziektheater Transparant’s annual youth opera is the international place to be for young musicians who want to experience the creation an opera production with professional guidance. They are involved in the staging, trained in Baroque music and primed for a series of performances.
For the 2018 edition, they will be taking on the French opéra-ballet ‘Les Indes Galantes’ by Jean-Philippe Rameau, led by director Luigi De Angelis and harpsichordist/conductor Korneel Bernolet. They will be guiding singers and musicians in the creation of a performance that is scented with a mixture of entertaining exoticism and 18th-century philosophy. Featuring a real catwalk an arena for the young singers. As always, the result is sure to be a pleasant surprise!
