Christian Rizzo
B.C. Janvier 1545, Fontainebleau
Christian Rizzo is presenting a dance solo with, as is his wont, an oddly baroque title: 'b.c. janvier 1545, fontainebleau'. For this piece he once again brings together his 'old hands': Caty Olive for the lighting design and Gérôme Nox for the music. It is danced by Julie Guibert, who made quite an impression at the last BOUGE B with her own solo 'Devant l'arrière-pays'. She earned her stars as a classical dancer with several international ballet companies. She stood out so emphatically that contemporary choreographers including William Forsythe, Trisha Brown and of course Christian Rizzo asked her to work with them. In this solo, this French dancer once again excels in her elegance and precision.
