David Wampach

Although he initially studied medicine, David Wampach soon changed direction to theatre and then also dance. He had already been our guest as a dancer with Mathilde Monnier and Christian Rizzo. For BOUGE B he will be presenting his own two-part work 'Battement/Batterie'. The first part, 'Battement', is a humorous tribute to classical ballet and refers to the dance technique in which one leg is thrust upward with force. The second part, 'Batterie', is an encounter between a drummer and a dancer. The two performers explore their own space and ultimately come together in an energetic crescendo.
