Jan Fabre . Troubleyn

In the first few weeks of his existence, man is female. That is the premise of this solo dance performance. Jan Fabre was inspired by the 'action paintings' of Yves Klein, which used bodies as living paintbrushes. A truly amazing experience for the performer! She finds herself naked beneath a ceiling of bottles from which olive oil first drips, then gushes and splashes until the entire stage becomes a slippery bath. Jan Fabre presented this solo performance for and with Lisbeth Gruwez. The result was utterly spectacular thanks to a combination of technical know-how, great imagination and total abandonment.
