(LA)HORDE interweaves internet culture and dance into a stimulating visual spectacle.
What happens to our body and our emotions when the virtual increasingly invades our reality? A question that fits (LA)HORDE like a glove. The French dance collective keeps its finger on the pulse of popular culture. With performances inspired by raves and jumpstyle, among others, they investigate the effects of the internet on the body. Age of Contentis based on the digital aesthetics of video game avatars, OnlyFans and viral TikTok moves, and confronts them on stage with elements from postmodern dance, jazz and the Hollywood musical. After the phenomenal success of Room With a View, in which (LA)HORDE collaborated with the well-known producer Rone, Age of Content promises to be another remarkable dance performance.
