LaSADCUM’s Navaja: dance, data and digital chaos in a radical stage experience.
There is a HIILF all in white, Holds them and sings a lullaby, They’re nice to see and they’re soft to touch, They say ‘My LOINKS I love you very much’.
Navaja is the second large-format scenic work by laSADCUM, the artistic project of Guillem Jiménez. After receiving widespread acclaim and awards in Spain, this groundbreaking performance now makes its Belgian debut. laSADCUM's work always starts from the codes of digital consumption platforms, resulting in a disorienting experience where dance styles, memes, and internet videos merge. Five characters, the LOINKS, embark on a (non-)journey in three acts. In a hypnotic and radical choreography, bodies and data come together on stage, searching for connection in a fragmented digital universe.
