1h 30' Do you love dance with a barb? Then maybe this duet is for you. Two radical dancer-choreographers stand eye-to-eye. Since 'Disfigure Study' (1991), Meg Stuart has been the epitome of the contemporary dance world. In her work, she brings hidden aspects of human behaviour sharply into focus. 'Incubator', a recent performance by Philipp Gehmacher, made a great impression upon her. In 'Incubator', the young Austrian choreographer reduced his language of movement to its abstract essence. In doing so, he investigated the limits of the readability of motion. In this new production, Stuart and Gehmacher go on an adventure. Their performance develops out of improvisation. This allows both to feel for the unknown possibilities of their collaboration. Can her presence break through his severe minimalism? Is it a dialogue or a confrontation?
