Michiel Reynaert, Ondine Cloez, Sara Manente + Jullien Chevy

You will undoubtedly come across them during your visit to BOUGE B: the 'Grand Tourists' Michiel Reynaert, Ondine Cloez and Sara Manente. They took their name from 'le Grand Tour', a term for the extensive journeys made throughout the European continent that were an almost obligatory part of the education of young adults of the British elite from the eighteenth to the early twentieth century, and which took them to all the classic European monuments. The Grand Tour was the perfect opportunity for them to put their theoretical knowledge of art into practice. They travelled with the express intention of looking, listening and experiencing. Now, the 'Grand Tourists' will be spending four days at deSingel. Their unpredictable presence at BOUGE B will involve seeing and being seen, and the many and varied ways in which they are possible. For this occasion, Sara Manente, Ondine Cloez and Michiel Reynaert have invited a guest artist, the photographer Julien Chevy. He will act as a witness to their activities. You can see some of his photos in the corridors during BOUGE B.
