FIEBRE explores the desire to share an intimate space.
FIEBRE starts with a fictitious landscape (read: sensual, clingy material) and explores the desire to share an intimate space. Slowly the dancers explore the possibilities of erotic togetherness, sexuality and rawness. With this performance, Tamara Alegre wants to depict different and new forms of togetherness. Eroticism becomes a source of empowerment where desire, repulsion and alienation are free to exist alongside one another. FIEBRE is built on collaboration and care. Rather than flattering a single author, this performance relies upon the group, on the different parts of the work. The performance won the Young Choreographers' Award at the ImPulsTanz festival in 2021.
