Nanakill / Yaye Daro
Nanakill Nanakill is still extremely new on the scene, but is already being described as ‘one to watch’. Her passion for 1990s R&B is apparent from her soulful voice and compelling beats. Her first single FREAK and the accompanying video have garnered fantastic reviews. Her second single Flaws confirmed that she was here to say. Her coming EP which appears later this year is definitely one to look out for.
Yaye Daro The versatile artist Yaye Daro, Leuven born and bred, started his musical career while he was literally still in his baby shoes. At the age of 3 he first came into contact with music when his mother found a broken drum kit on the street. However he didn’t stop it at drumming alone; he now plays multiple instruments, ranging from the guitar to the keys. His style could be described as a genre-fluid mix that is predominately influenced by Hip Hop. His numbers reflect on social themes and draw on his own life experience. He pours this into quick-witted texts supported by catchy beats.
