Radiant Nights #3
The Other Sides
Four times a year, Radiant Nights is a space for creation and experimentation, free from conventions. For two whole days, artists take over a part of the building. Radiant Nights offers an insight into the arts landscape of today and tomorrow and features both large and small-scale work, ranging from the obscure, to the fragile, to the experimental. At its core are versatile artists who seek out the in-between space beyond binary thinking. The spaces in between different disciplines, themes, genres and bodies. Their work is diverse, radical, exciting and surprising. Radiant.
During Radiant Nights #3, you are invited to explore other, perhaps obscure, sides of your own existence. Different artists invite us to untangle notions of monstrosity, zombification, alienation and eroticism.
Disappear with us in The Well, a fascinating performance by Maria Metsalu displaying two protagonists that try to cope with the overwhelming complexity of this world. Let yourself be seduced by the energetic performance FIEBRE where eroticsm becomes a source of empowerment. Delve into the physicality of monstrosity in the refined dance solo by Milo Slayers. And become part of the alienating world of Göksu Kunak in which nationalist and conservative forms of politics are queered.
In Addition to the performance program we welcome you in our festival centre for Radiant Readings with upcoming poets Calya J., Daniëlle Zawadi and Lies-Jo Vandenhende on Friday. On Saturday there is an open mic curated by Sefora Sam, followed by a Late Night Concerts program with Nanakill and Yaye Daro.
Every evening consists of a double-bill. One ticket (15 euros) gives access to two performances.
