'Still Life with Man and Woman' is an absurd thriller based on one existential question: what is going on? A film set in a live performance with appearances by uninvited ghosts, imaginary friends and a couple of real people: a man and a woman. One follows the other, but they never succeed in being in the same room together. On the contrary, the room generates a life of its own. They try to find out what is going on, but the rules are out of action. It is not even certain whether the other is actually there at all. They try to develop a story but it is constantly eluding them: they cannot say whether it is they who are telling the story or they who are being told.
A performance about love, ghosts and rain dancing. Based on a scene from Michelangelo Antonioni's film 'Blow Up'.
