_END_ festival

The END festival once again celebrates the artists who developed work over the past year in our ON_OFF_SPACE. This DE SINGEL workspace is a place for experimentation at the intersection of dance, theatre, music, and spoken word – with a strong focus on new voices and hybrid forms.

END_25 festival presents a showcase of these artistic journeys. Astrid Tetsche Sweeney and Weixin Quek Chong return with the result of their 2023 residency, during which they developed ontogenesis dreams: a sideways stretching of sensory limbs – a post-apocalyptic performance installation where body and environment merge.

Lennert De Vroey also presents his project Palm: a critical and tangible research into the cost of palm oil, where performativity and ecopolitics meet.
