The first crocuses are flowering, spring is in the air. And with the spring, hope beckons at the end of the dark days. At DE SINGEL we anticipate the changing of the seasons with a large-scale spring celebration. With RE/BIRTH expect an interdisciplinary and intercultural festival on the theme of rebirth. The concerts and performances in this festival will demonstrate how diverse artists view this subject. From a spiritual rebirth after death to a psychological reset following a period of introspection. From a creative upsurge after the end of the pandemic to a rebirth of identity when recovering from a trauma. The music programme varies from Bach and Schumann, to the Staatskapelle Dresden conducted by András Schiff to Eastern music with the Babylon Orchestra from Berlin. We offer the theatre and dance-lover groundbreaking work from Tamara Cubas, Lukas Avendaño and Milo Rau.
