Free Music XXXIV
The thirty-fourth Free Music Festival invites you to three days of music and musicians from all over the world. As simple as that. No concept, no theme, no 'format'.
Music of the moment, in all its shapes and forms - complicated and simple, hilariously funny and deadly serious, stone cold and romantic, with melody and without. Created by musicians and artists of various styles - visionaries of jazz, rock, classical music and more. And a few names. The American trumpeter Peter Evans, finally in Belgium for one of his heroic solo concerts. A first performance by Fabian Fiorini, Benoît Delbecq and their two pianos. Percussionist Jim Black is in residence and meets, among others, Fred Van Hove, the festival's founding father. The Pow Ensemble presents a mix of computer electronics with funk and tap dance…
