In Deep Silence

Following the death of Wim Henderickx, DE SINGEL and Antwerp Royal Conservatoire are organising a remembrance concert in the Blue Hall.

It was with great sadness and dejection that we received news of the sudden death of Wim Henderickx. As a composer, percussionist, teacher, friend, bridge-builder and eternal positive personality, Wim had been a familiar face at DE SINGEL since the beginning of his impressive career. Most recently, we celebrated his 60th birthday with the Belgian premiere of Sutra with the NDR Radiophilharmonie. Wim was also a familiar face on the arts site as a teacher, attached to the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (AP Hogeschool).

We will miss Wim very much. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his wife, children and many friends.
