The Belgian National Orchestra and Julien Libeer tell stories with music.
Via two symphonic poems by Franck and the Suite from Debussy’s Pelléas et Mélisande, the Belgian National Orchestra and Otto Tausk tell stories with music. Eberhard Kloke rewrote several parts from Das Rheingold for a compact and modern symphony orchestra, without losing sight of Wagner’s splendid colours. In between these musical stories, Julien Libeer plays Reynaldo Hahn’s Piano Concerto, an underrated masterpiece that speaks equally to the imagination.
