About all of the things: time, space, light, sounds, organisms, objects, people, feelings and thoughts.
ONE. is a choral piece for four voices sung by one woman. The score is ninety metres long. ONE. is an attempt to let us hear and see that everything is always in motion. An attempt to understand what it is like to be one part of all these things.
ONE. is a solo musical performance by Lisa Verbelen, a member of BOG., a Flemish-Dutch collective of theatre-makers. BOG. creates theatre on the basis of a desire for an overview, to take an objective look. They zoom in on everything that Man is trying to get a grip on but which is too big to grasp.
ONE. has been nominated for the 2016 BNG New Theatre Makers Prize. This is the major Dutch theatre award for the most promising (young) theatre-maker. The award will be presented during the opening of the Dutch Theatre Festival. The winner will receive 45,000 euro for the rerun of the performance or the creation of a new production.

‘... A multidisciplinary performance that is a surprising combination of text, singing and acting ... she knows, in a way that is both clever and appealing, how to take the audience into a world that ultimately includes everything in existence:. singing and feelings, thoughts and emotions.’ – De Theaterkrant
