For five days a.pass will be taking a closer look at recent American theatre. This will include examining the influence of pop aesthetics, the principles of film editing, and transmedia set-ups on the development of a new visual idiom for theatre and performance. The discussions will include the use of visual material, texts and talks with artists present and in dialogue with some of the festival performances.
The workshop is open to a.pass participants and anyone else who is interested.
