Antwerpse Dag van de Filosofie 2025

The Antwerp Day of Philosophy is an inspiring one-day festival that takes you on a philosophical journey of discovery through lectures, workshops, debates, and art. A program is also provided for children. The event aligns with the theme of the Month of Philosophy, ‘I care’.

Care is much more than a burden: it connects us with others and gives our lives meaning. But in a world where we increasingly outsource care—from technology to cheap labor—the question arises: who takes care of whom? How can we prevent care needs from leading to exploitation (of other people) and exhaustion (of nature)? What challenges does the healthcare sector face? And how can we restore care to a positive, valuable place in our society?
