STORMKOP (6+)

During the Antwerp Philosophy Day, STORMKOP is organising a child-sized programme for 6- to 12-year-olds. ‘I care’, the theme of the Month of Philosophy, is a phrase reminiscent of childhood. A time when we did not carry around any significant worries. But is that right? Don't we underestimate our children? Wouldn't our own children secretly eavesdrop or spy on our worries? And what would they do with them? STORMKOP creates an ecological robot for the afterlife with trash from the neighbourhood, discovers wild nature on and around the deSingel art site, and invents a new word for people who don't ‘feel heard’. While the adults think deeply and seriously, STORMKOP puts philosophical questions and answers into practice. At the end of the day there will be a real show moment - a gift to the adults to look at the world again with children's eyes.
