Aaron Betsky (directeur NAI - Rotterdam)

Aaron Betsky (°1958 / USA, woont in Rotterdam), auteur, architectuurhistoricus.
Hij studeerde kunstgeschiedenis en architectuur aan de universiteit van Yale, New Haven. Van 1995 tot 2001 was hij curator architectuur, design en digitale projecten aan het San Francisco Museum of Modern Art en assistent aan het California College of Arts & Crafts, San Francisco. Sinds 2001 is hij aangesteld als directeur van het Nederlands Architectuur Instituut, Rotterdam. Tot zijn meest recente publicaties behoren 'MRDV: Reads' (2003), 'Landscrapers, building with the land' (2002), 'Revelatory Landscapes' (2001), 'The Architecture must burn' (2000), 'Vertigo, the strange new world of the contemporary city' (1999), 'Icons, Magnets of Meaning' (1997).
