Hue
Is it possible to spend years travelling the world as a dancer in William Forsythe's renowned company while at the same time creating your own work? The seven dancers in 'Hue' prove conclusively that you can. 'Hue' is a performance about desire. About its form, essence and driving force. Seven individuals attempt to deal with the emptiness that surrounds them. They set out to find those who support them and those who have distanced themselves from them. They do this with movements that are as natural as those of ordinary pedestrians in the street. The emptiness, the distance, the presence or absence of things and people: it is a story that gradually takes shape in the spectator's mind. 'Hue' is a tender performance full of nuance and sensitivity. Both abstract and highly recognisable.
