Cláudia will be giving a master-class on 'Real Time Composition', a multidisciplinary method she consistently applies in her work. The master-class is open to participants from various disciplines (dance, theatre, music, architecture and so on). The method was devised by Joao Fiadeiro, Dias' colleague in the Portuguese production company RE-AL. He has the following to say about this:
'Because we regard the future as self-evident we don't know what to do when the present takes us by surprise. Real Time Composition intervenes at the point when we feel the earth shift beneath our feet.'
