No ordinary dance floor in 'Cover Up'. Instead, it is a soft animal skin. An immense sheepskin. A fluffy carpet. Mamaza uses this floor as a starting point for a performance about semblance and superficiality. About what appeals to the eye. On the basis of a traditional but ingenious use of lighting, they present a show that is both humorous and disturbing. They use the stage as a blank sheet, a playground where they devise - and perform - the most bizarre fantasies.
'Cover Up' is this trio's latest creation and was produced in coproduction with deSingel.
