A+ has been the leading architectural magazine in Belgium for more than 30 years. It is reliable and innovative. It is where a variety of architectural practices in various regions are brought face to face. It is a platform for pioneering projects and ideas. A+ is about architecture and everything associated with it. A+ will be participating in the continuous story of dedonderdagen. The magazine will include three sections that complement and commenting on the event, and the magazine will be present on each of the three evenings. At dedonderdagen #11 its presence was limited to viewing and taking note, wandering around and exploring the building on a strict schedule, with a brief gathering, or a happening, here and there. The corridors are endless and doors will be unrelentingly closed. A varied programme finds its way into every twist and turn in the arts centre, takes you to the remotest corners of the building and allows the building to participate freely in the event. The building plays a central role in the dedonderdagen trilogy. Commencing in 1968 and completed and renovated in various stages, the deSingel building has a rich architectural history. It is a spectacle in itself, in a sequence of acts and with a changing cast. A+ will analyse this spectacle on site, pointing out to the spectator the most notable scenes, unexpected turns and future productions. A+ will act as an unobtrusive guide to the remarkable architecture of deSingel.
