Lyricide is an audiovisual performance and mixture of occasionally rare historic and modern art images, sounds, texts and animations. The basic elements are voice and typography. Mixing is part of a DJ's work and projections that of a graphic designer. Sound and image are both approached and manipulated 'live' in the same way. Lyricide is a hybrid creation and a mixture of cultures, and a combination of sound creation, techno clubs, printed typography, computer science, digital animation and modern art; it shows us how creations come into being on the boundaries separating various domains.
