David Weber-Krebs (b. 1974) sees himself as 'a maker of ends'. His performance starts exactly where other stories stop: at the moment when 'darkness crashes down'. Light, space and two people continually balance on the border between appearance and disappearance. Who are these two people? What's their relationship to one another? What have they been through? 'Fade out' stimulates the imagination like a chorus, a final image that continues to vibrate before it is finally all over.
Weber-Krebs studied literature and theology before going to Amsterdam to study mime. His performances move between film, performance art and physical theatre.
