Tuning People creates musical theatre with homemade instruments. The driving force is the product developer and set designer Wannes Deneer. For their new creation, 'Worm', he extends the range of instruments with percussion sheets, a drip machine and a radial phono-drummer. Tuning People's music factory assumes the shape of a worm and consists of seven mobile compartments. Wannes Deneer and Jochem Baelus produce live sound with their instruments, and their activities are displayed by means of cameras and screens on the compartments. The talented young director Jef Van Gestel ensures that the sound and image combine to form theatre.
