Dear Antwerp

The Dear Antwerp city festival is staging its fifth edition! As usual, in late summer we gather at various locations in the city for artistic interventions, concerts and performances. We do this in collaboration with artists and partners who help us colour in the city each day afresh. Near the MAS, Rebel Art Platform Man OverBoord presents an XL reworking of their performance REPEAT. Stuck in the system's repetition, the performers dance themselves free until they're exhausted. Until the sun rises and sets again. In-house artist Khadija El Kharraz Alami dives into the polyrhythms of Moroccan music genres, inviting everyone to reflect collectively on loss and memory. And we rally our efforts for the launch of Madam Fortuna’s ambitious project Metropolis, a festival created by and for young people in collaboration with numerous partners!
