About all of the things: time, space, light, sounds, organisms, objects, people, feelings and thoughts.
ONE. is a four-voiced choral piece, sung by a single woman. The score is seventy-five metres long. ONE. is an attempt to demonstrate both aurally and visually that everything is constantly in motion. An attempt to grasp what it’s like to be a single part of all these things.
ONE. is a musical solo performance by Lisa Verbelen under the umbrella of BOG., the collection of theatre makers Sanne Vanderbruggen, Judith de Joode, Benjamin Moen and Lisa Verbelen.
BOG. makes theatre that stems from the desire for an overview, for an objective gaze. We zoom in on everything that people try to get a grip on but is too big to grasp.
“Alone or otherwise, they know how to skilfully and invitingly transport the audience into a world that ultimately consists of everything that can exist: song and feelings, thoughts and emotions.” Theaterkrant
