To lose yourself completely in the music: that’s a feeling that the Electroday is aiming to provoke. The Rotterdam-based electro collective has a single goal: to involve everyone in electro culture For this they’ll be deploying their four champions, each of whom has conquered the electro world in their own way, and also excels at other disciplines. For example, the 22-year-old Pairodime aka Joley Groeizaam began dancing at the age of seven, is meanwhile also active in the fashion world, and last year in Rome won the first prize in the newcomer category. The artist and theatre-maker Creepashu aka Jeffrey Loewenicht feels equally at home on stage and has been acclaimed in the Dutch electro-scene for years. The foursome is completed by the Italian electro-pioneer Sale aka Simone Salerno, who has already won several international competitions, and Megan Jane Simons. She too has been active in the hip-hop and theatre worlds for several years, but she primarily organises many jams and events herself. In other words, the House X Electro dance battle will blow you away and can now already guarantee the very best that this unique form of street dance has to offer.
