OUNI
Photos often say far more than a thousand words. That’s why we allow OUNI’s images to speak in a polaroid story. The photographer is the founder of the Polaroid, music and interview platform apolaroidstory.com, where she portrays groundbreaking artists from the international hiphop and R&B landscape. Over the past few years, she has developed life-sized Polaroid prototypes which she exhibits as part of BLUEPRINT. Her exhibition is an ode to black music and aims to capture legendary standard-bearers within the culture. As well as campaigns for brands including Levi’s and Uniqlo, she has already got behind her lens for music videos for Coely and Moka Boka. In other words, OUNI is an important central figure in the Belgian and international hiphop scene. This will also become crystal clear in her exhibition.
Kelly Fober
Born and bred in the Dutch province of Brabant, Kelly Fober ultimately lost her heart to Antwerp. So BLUEPRINT is very much a home match for her, at which she will exhibit her work. Her love of spontaneous portraits is also reflected in her editorials, where she generally opts for raw, natural images. In the meantime, she can count VICE, Astro Antwerp and SEVENTEEN among her clients and she can be found at festivals such as Fire Is Gold and Les Ardentes. So the backstage areas in Belgium and abroad no longer hold any secrets for her, which means she has plenty of exciting stories to tell. What’s more, it is no surprise that she is greatly loved among Belgian hiphop artists for her work, but also for her positive outlook and open-minded vision, which she also puts into her work.
