At dedonderdagen #4 Champ d'Action will be continuing its collaboration with the young Collectif Réflexible. The 'Looking for the Borders' project explores the boundaries between written and improvised music. The Etude Intérieure no. 1, which Stefan Prins (B) wrote for the occasion, sets the tone of a programme with the piano at its heart. In most of the piano pieces performed, the keys are hardly touched. Every acoustic quality of the piano is tried in the search for new sounds and articulations. Electronic means are used to make the often microscopic sounds audible and to project them into the space.
