'MAN OS V 1.0' is a video installation which is being presented in its ideal form for the first time in Antwerp: as a larger-than-life computer monitor. Just imagine there's a little man inside your computer who literally has to carry out all the commands you give him when you click on the mouse. With this idea at the back of their minds, the two young Viennese artists Seidel and Stiermann made this short film with the 'human processor' as its leading character. The Norton Disk Doctor drops by too, and on the Internet our hero meets the foursome H, T, M and L. 'MAN OS V 1.0' is a playful and humourous reflection on the great contrast between human and digital capacities. You do not have enough eyes in your head to follow the hellish activity of the leading character.
